Position Summary:
Our client, a beverage manufacturer located on the North side of Chicago, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to join our 3rd shift team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless production and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on packaging machines, liquid filling machines, mechanical sealing equipment, conveyor belts, and Kloeckner machines.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Grease production lines and ensure proper lubrication of equipment components.
- Disassemble machines for routine inspections, cleaning, and reassembly.
- Conduct routine equipment checks, identifying and addressing potential problems proactively.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Operate production equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements:
- Availability to work 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 4:30 AM) Monday night-Saturday morning
- 2-3 years of prior machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies
